MEChA Sponsors Public Candidates Forum Oct. 5

The Wenatchee Valley College MEChA Club is sponsoring a public candidates forum Oct. 5, at 5:30 p.m. in the Van Tassell Center on the WVC Wenatchee campus.  Candidates running for city council and mayor positions in both Wenatchee and East Wenatchee will present.

Each candidate will be asked four questions provided by WVC students and three-to-four questions provided by community members in attendance.

The mission of the WVC MEChA Club is to encourage education and empowerment of Latinos, and promote the awareness of the Latino culture on campus and in the community.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided and are sponsored by Pepsi and Safeway.
